I'd like you to do some work on "A Streetcar Named Desire" and post the work on your Blogs. I'll read it this weekend.

You can upload your work via SCRIBD or type it straight into a Post on your Blog. I've put a link on how to upload powerpoints via slide share on the LINKS column to the right of this message.
Neil and Jenny know how to upload to SCRIBD. You go to http://www.scribd.com/ and register with your school email, then just click on 'upload' and copy the embed code of your document to the 'Edit HTML' section of your new post on your Blogs. (Remember to make a note of all passwords)
You'll also see that I've linked to your Blog pages.

Researching the 20th and 21st Century Struggle for Identity
Not an easy task, I know. So click on the link on the right to explore 20th and 21st Century world events and the progression through Literature.
Also how about making an entry on your Blogs based on our discussion of Atwood's 'The Handmaid's Tale'? It's all wider reading, even the extracts count. Put a heading: The Struggle for Identity. Loss of self identity and Controlled Identity. Jot down a few ideas about how Atwood conveys ideas about the struggle for identity in the opening of her novel.
